Program Admission
Cardinals Interact is only open for admissions to 9th graders at Hoover High School.
How to Apply
There are two ways to apply to Cardinals Interact.
1. Paper Application: These are available in the Counseling Office, or can be downloaded from our website. Paper applications may be turned in at the Counseling Office.
or
2. Online Application: Online applications are available on our website.
We have no preference on how you apply. Both paper and online applications are due on the same date. Please submit only one application.
Application Timeline
January
Applications are available at the Hoover High School counseling office and on our website.
March
Applications are due in March.
April
Students who are invited to interview will be notified through email. Interviews will be conducted in-person.
Early May
The new Cardinals Interact class is selected. Students and their parents/guardians are invited to the New Class Parent Orientation.
June/July
Cardinals will attend a mandatory 1st-year camp. Mandatory tutoring begins in 10th grade.
Please note the following application criteria:
- Handwritten Applications must be completed by the student using dark blue or black ink – using the lines provided.
- Both students and a parent/guardian must sign the application.
- Attach the Letter of Recommendation or have it mailed directly to the Price Philanthropies Cardinals Interact offices. Letters must be postmarked by the deadline.
