Program Expectations
Being in the Cardinals Interact Program is a privilege.
Cardinals are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects good decision making and promotes respectful interactions with other Cardinals, program staff, and guests.
Each Cardinal represents the program and their school.
The actions of one member reflect on the entire group. These rules/expectations and consequences are set in place to ensure the safety of the Cardinals, establish order, and to preserve the goals and integrity of the program.
Commitment to Personal Growth
Students should be committed to meet personal and academic goals and have a positive impact in their community.
Students are expected to follow the Code of Conduct at all times, including:
- RSVP and attend all programs.
- Participants are expected to give their time and commitment to the program.
- Show courtesy and respect to other Cardinals and adults involved with the program. This includes respecting their views and guidance as well as their belongings and property.
- During ALL overnight programs, it is important to follow all rules that will be communicated to students.
- The use of and/or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and other illegal acts are strictly prohibited. Failure to abide by this expectation will result in termination from the Cardinals Interact Program.
- Maintain a safe environment free of all verbal and physical harassment.
- Maintain an excellent school attendance record and academic standard. Poor school attendance is cause for termination from the Cardinals Interact Program.
Additional information regarding full program details will be presented at Mandatory Parent Orientation upon acceptance.
